About the event
In this event, we'll take an early morning walk on our working farm with a focus on listening for bird song. For those that want them, we'll give tips on identifying birds, but you may wish to just soak up the atmosphere. Along the way we'll talk about how a farm can be profitable and still consider wildlife and long-term environmental impacts. We'll walk 2-3 miles at a gentle pace around field edges and over stiles. At the end of the walk, we'll have a cuppa and they'll be time for more questions, and a walk around the Village Farm community veg garden.
These walks are aimed at adults, but interested older teenagers are welcome.
